Therefore IR-ports are built in many notebooks, a handheld computer, mobile phones and other instruments. According to association of IrDA, in 2003 already more than 0,5 billions devices in the world had IR-port. Besides, IrDA consumes not enough energy, does not bring interferences in operation of radio equipment and does not put harm to health.

Bluetooth:

The following technology of wireless connection has been created by union Bluetooth (“the Blue tooth”). The organization (and then the technology) has received such unusual name in honor of the king of Denmark Harold II living in Х century and nicknamed the Blue Tooth. It has become famous as the combiner of the Danish earths. In the same way the Bluetooth-technology helps to connect among themselves personal computers, mobile phones, a handheld computer and every possible household appliance.

Bluetooth differs from IrDA that it uses radio-waves. The Bluetooth-device contains the small chip — the transceiver working in a range of 2,4-2,48 GHz. Connection of two Bluetooth-devices allows transfer the data on speeds from 420 to 720 Kbit/c to distance to 10 m. of All Bluetooth can to link to eight devices, except that, this standard possesses a high noise stability.
